ARIES Instr.-Ukraine 178 mm f/8 Doublet Fluorite Apochromat

Since the 90th we haven?t offered Apochromatic Telescopes made by Aries in the Ukraine. So Aries manufactured allmost only RC optics for RC-Optical in the USA.

Now we have a new edition of Fluorite Apochromats from Aries with a 2-lens fluorite optic, made from a inside CaF2 lens and a outside OF6 lens, mounted in a very lightweight housing, weighing only 8.1 lb including the optic.

The aluminium tube is equipped with 2 tuberings and a rotatable finder bracket for 50 mm viewfinder. The 4" focuser has a micro focusing. This high quality apochromat will be delivered in a very sturdy aluminium case.
