Hi all,
I have a brand new AP 130 GT scope which I received in October 08 (waited 9 years!). Due to the change in my work scope which now requires extensive traveling, I never had a chance to use the scope ever since it arrived. The scope has been mounted only once to take photos (and some viewing inside the house) and has never been outdoors or under the stars yet.
As such, it is as new as it can get. Optic has never been exposed to outdoors and never been touched. The case (with the scope inside) is placed in a humidity controlled room every since it got here. I even place a hygrometer (to monitor humidity) near the case just to be sure.
The scope comes with the original AP rings, 2" focuser extender, the AP finder dovetail base, the owner manual and I even throw in a very nice silver anodized 2" PWT dessicant cap which matches the silver colour focuser knobs. Mount, diagonal, eyepiece, tripod, etc shown in the photos are not included.
Every part is in great condition. You really need to look at this scope to appreciate the workmanship that has gone into it. The focuser is buttery smooth and every part is machined so well. The dew shield slides in and out with just the correct friction. And btw, I have never dissembled the scope into 3 parts (for portability purpose which it is capable of).
My price is $7900 or best offer that I can't refuse. I will use back the original AP box for shipping.
