Astro-Physics Starfire 140EDF4 5.5" F7.5 Apochromat with accessories

Astro-Physics Starfire 140EDF4 has 4" focuser with Feathertouch knob, carrying case, extension tube, Quick Release Bracket for the 8x50 Finder, PWT/Astro-Physics Desiccant cap, Astronomy Shoppe Scope Totes, case, mounting rings and 14" dovetail.

I do NOT have a field flattener. I'm mostly a visual guy, but I'm including an image a friend took through this scope with a Nikon DSLR. It was unguided using my Mach1gto mount.

I'm the original owner, and this was my primary scope from December of 2007 until August of 2017. Unfortunately, a back injury makes it impractical to continue using it.

The optics are superb. The Feathertouch knob on the focuser is a joy to work with.

I was careful with it, but after ten years of use, there is some light wear on the carrying case, and some bright spots on the mounting rings from riding in the trunk of my car. One of the decals on the side of the dew shield has some scuffs from going in and out of the case.

The Scope Totes are a very handy accessory. They sell for about $180 new, and while that sounds like a lot, they're very well made and greatly simplify safely moving the scope out of the case and onto the mount.

I have the original shipping box for the scope. The rings, dovetail and other accessories will go in a separate box. Depending on distance, we might be able to meet in person to save shipping cost.
