Borg 89ED Ultimate Portable Grab-and-Go

Borg 89ED with Feather Touch Focuser. This telescope is comparable to the TeleVue 85, though somewhat lighter. About similar to the TV85 insofar as chromaticism, though in my opinion it is a bit sharper due to larger aperture. This OTA uses a retractable draw tube and dew shield that makes it stow compactly. A vixen dovetail is mounted on the finder block. With the draw tube extended and a diagonal installed, balance is achieved at that location while not adding bulk or weight to the system.

Comes with Platt Case with custom foam insert. This case is 24x11x7 inches. This case makes this system a awesome grab and go set up. The scope and dovetail are fitted, the only in field action required is pulling the draw tube out an inch or two and balancing on the mount.

Condition of everything as seen in photos is excellent. INCLUDED: telescope, case, dovetail, and Feathertouch focusser. Also shown in photos but NOT INCLUDED: eyepieces, diagonal, or lumicon filter. Photo with eyepieces shown to demonstrate what can be put in the case with the telescope.
