For sale is an Explore Scientific AR152 achromatic refractor. This telescope was purchased to be used primarily for visual observing and outreach events, however, it wasn't ever used much and has been mostly kept in storage.
The package includes:
- Explore Scientific AR152 152mm f/6.5 achromatic refractor OTA
- Original Explore Scientific padded soft case with accessory compartments
- Tube rings
- Carry handle
- Vixen-style dovetail
- Explore Scientific 50mm finder scope with bracket
- Explore Scientific 2" enhanced dielectric diagonal
- Front dust cap
The objective lens is not as clean as I would prefer, but it is free of any chips, cracks, fungus, or coating issues that I can detect.
There are a few minor marks and scratches on the OTA and dew shield as well as the dovetail from normal handling and transport.
