Lunt LS80MT 80mm Double-Stack Solar Telescope — Complete Solar/Nighttime Package

Selling my Lunt LS80MT modular telescope with equipment for H-alpha, Calcium-K, white-light solar, and nighttime observing/imaging.

Purchased in 2021, lightly used, and well maintained. The optics are very clean. Includes two Lunt transport cases.

Telescope and H-alpha equipment:

• LS80MT 80mm f/7 ED doublet refractor, 560mm focal length

• Original pressure-tuned H-alpha module

• Internal pressure-tuned double-stack module

• B1800 H-alpha blocking filter in 2-inch diagonal

• Lunt 7.2–21.5mm zoom eyepiece

This is the 2021-generation system, with original published bandpass specifications of <0.7 Å single-stacked and <0.5 Å double-stacked. It is not the current new-generation etalon version.

• Lunt B1200 Calcium-K module, 2-inch 90-degree prism configuration

• Lunt 2-inch white-light solar wedge

• Separate solar and nighttime focuser assemblies

• ZWO EAF installed on the nighttime focuser, with hand controller and temperature sensor

The Ca-K module and white-light wedge are additional accessories beyond the equipment included in the current LS80MT Premium Kit.

Price: $4,750 for the complete package. Payment by PayPal Goods and Services; seller covers PayPal fees.

Phoenix, Arizona pickup is preferred, allowing the buyer to inspect the equipment and avoid shipping costs.

If shipping is required, the buyer pays all packing, shipping, and insurance/declared-value coverage charges. Shipment will be via FedEx, with each transport case packed inside a protective outer carton. Estimated total shipping charges for both cases are $200. This is a preliminary estimate; the exact total will be determined at the time of sale based on the buyer’s shipping address and final packing requirements, and agreed upon before payment.

Shipping is available only within the contiguous 48 United States. No Alaska, Hawaii, or international shipping.
