REDUCED: Meade AR-6 152mm achromat f/8 with upgrades and soft case

REDUCED: $225 for a 6-inch refractor! This scope excels at wide-field views under dark skies. The scope comes with the following upgrades: a smooth 2" Crayford focuser (much better than the original), a long Astrozap flocked dew shield, a carry grip (pretty much a necessity when mounting the scope) and a soft case for transportation. After being damaged by UPS, the scope was restored and has been perfectly collimated. The views are sharp with surprisingly little false color. The front lens has a small area at the bottom blacked out with a marker, to cover a little chip. It has no bearing on the image, and I would like to show you the quality of the optics in person. Focal length is 1200mm, weight is about 23 lbs. including rings and Vixen dovetail. The finder, diagonal and eyepiece are not included at this price.
