PENDING - Too many scopes! This one is in near mint condition. Minimal dust on the objective (never touched it) and not a scratch on the body. Color correction is excellent with only a fraction of chromatic aberration on the very brightest objects. What sets the scope apart is the way it has been constructed to facilitate binoviewing. It has an extension tube that can be removed so a binoviewer will easily get to focus without an OCS or Barlow. Under dark skies, that makes for exceptional views of the Milky Way and deep sky objects.
It is a good imaging scope as well, see the recent image of the Orion Nebula, M42. The scope comes with Stellarvue rings and a very nice case, also in excellent condition. See pics. I prefer to sell this scope locally because insured shipping will be quite expensive. I do have the original shipping carton so we can discuss the possiblity if you don't mind spending an extra $100 or so for shipping and insurance.
