SW 150ED doublet with Celestron CGX mount

Hi and thanks for taking a look.

For sale is my SW 150ED doublet refractor with the original smaller focuser, Vixen style rail and rings.

Also included is my CGX mount (not the HD version) which includes an external plug in Pyramid brand DC power supply Has receptacle for mount power cord.

Scope is the original smaller focuser, Setup includes finder, vixen style rail and rings, original hard case, also included is an Orion brand soft carry case/bag. Rarely used and unused for last several years, I'd describe condition as very good to like new.

The mount is the Basic CGX and is fully capable of fielding this scope. Same as the scope little used and in very good to like new condition. It was a long time ago but I did inspect the belt drive and no issues. I have an extra hand controller and want to say I don't believe either has had any upgrade or whatever. I've only used both the scope and mount in a my back yard years ago (pretty sure early Covid days was least time)

I am pricing low for pick up, no intention to ship under any circumstances so please don't ask. Am in Portland, OR

In the past I've been accused of 'overmounting' my scopes for visual, but I do think this combo pretty ideal for my taste.

If you don't own one you will want/need a star diagonal for ease of use. If new to f/8 6” refractors this is a LARGE observing instrument. I've only used remotely once, all other observing done from my home with mount on a concrete pier.
