These are leftovers from my Takahashi projects of yore. The large, green dust caps are for placement INSIDE the refractor dew shield. The silver satin threaded caps are for threading onto the rear of the focuser before extensions are attached and they can also fit onto the ends of various Takahashi reducer lens systems.
Both the front dust covers and the threaded focuser-style covers are made of solid, milled aluminum.
Large dust cap: This will fit the dew shields of the FS-152; possibly the TOA-130. Inside felt measures 171.4mm on the green felt. Weighs exactly 14.9 ounces. Felt is perfect. No chips or dents or gashes to the body. Cosmetics are in great condition with expected age on a dust cover that is going on 30 years in age. $76.00 sold
Medium dust cap: Missing the front aperture cover. Also has no felt strip where it fits into the dew shield. This model is for the FS-102, FC-100, FC-100N, and FCT-100. It will highly likely fit the newer FC-100D and their like models, but check the measurement to be sure. With felt present, the inside measurement would be 140.4mm. Weighs exactly 9.4 ounces. Cosmetic condition is absolutely mint on ALL of the paint visible on the outside while placed on the dew shield. The inside paint is in excellent condition. No chips, dents, or scratches. $30.00
Small dust cap: This will be a color match to all years of the FS-78, the final years of the FC-76 and FCT-76, and the very first year or so of the Sky 90. It will fit the newer FC-76D, but will not color match. Same goes for the FSQ-85. It may fit the way-back-when TS-80. Measurement felt-to-felt is exactly 110mm. Weighs exactly 6.1 ounces. Cosmetics are excellent for its age with a few little ding marks here and there. No bad chips, scratches and definitely no dents. $44.00 sold
Larger satin cap: This is for the 4-inch class focusers and larger reducer lens assemblies on the refractors. Measures 97.6mm across the weidest part and the inner threads are for 91.9mm (M92). Weights exactly 3.0 ounces. Male threads are perfect. Cosmetics are definitely excellent; very excellent for its age. One faint hairline scratch on a portion of the top, but no other marks to worry about. $25.00
Smaller satin cap: This is for the 2-inch class focusers and for medium-size reducer lens assemblies. Measurements are 85.6mm across the widest part and the inner threads are for 81.9mm (M82). Weights exactly 2.0 ounces. Male threads are perfect. Cosmetics are excellent, but far from mint. Some faint abrasions, yet no dings or scratches. $18.00
