TEC 140 APO ED

For sale is my TEC 140 F7 APO ED. I am the original owner and it has always been stored in climate controlled conditions.  Price is $6800 (scope, rings, plate, and finder).

If you are interested in the DM-6 mount (no longer in production)  with the pictured tripod, extension, saddle, encoders, Sky Commander XP4  and accessory pad,  these will be offered as a group alone (not parted out) for $2500 plus shipping.

I would much prefer driving (within a reasonable distance of central Alabama) the telescope to its new owner to avoid potential shipping misalignment issues. If this is not possible and you wish to risk FedEx or UPS (your choice), I will have it packed by the method of your choice, but please be aware that shipping and insurance will be a substantial addition to the telescope price. I'm guessing between $350 and $500. I'll only ship inside the continental US and the telescope will be "as is" with no refunds. Insurance will only cover it if lost or obviously damaged in shipping - they are not going to help you with wave lengths of light misalignment of the three objective lenses - that would be up to you and TEC.
