With considerable reluctance I have for sale a superb TEC 140FL in excellent condition. This is #099, and as far as I can tell I am the third owner. This scope has clearly been well cared for, and the OTA shows no noticeable marks. The glass is clean and clear but for a bit of dust. Optically the scope is superb as expected, and collimation is dead on. The 3.5 inch Feathertouch is smooth and solid and will handle a heavy load without slipping.
Included with the OTA are the TEC soft case, rings, Losmandy style dovetail, handle, objective cover and visual back cover. I will note that the objective cover has a loose fit. Yuri said I could send the cover in for repair or replacement. I never got around to doing that but did get a Lens Coat which I will also include.
I would not be selling this scope but for the need to both downsize a bit and fund other projects.
I will sell this package for $5850 net to me, and I will cover the first $150 of shipping. I would love to do an in-person deal and would be willing to drive a bit to facilitate a handoff. In that case I would reduce the price by $150.
