I'm offering to sell my 2011 TEC 180 f/7 fluorite refractor which is in excellent condition - no issues whatsoever. This is a super scope in performance. Like a number of you I have more telescopes than I have time to use them, and plans for another project. The telescope has the TEC rings and FeatherTouch focuser, end caps and the original storage case. Current advertised new price is $19,000 which does not include the TEC case sold separately for $680. In addition, the wait time for the next production run is unknown to me.
Extras items include and current prices are:
TEC finder scope (not the current one that sells for $290 but mine worth at last $100.

AP SBD16 16" D-Style dovetail plate, $140

I've used the AP tube rings because they are very secure and so easy to use in the dark. The smaller, lighter golf bag hard case is easier for transport when the owner is doing the handling. The big case is certainly good, but it weighs more and needs a larger car for transport. The focuser adapter is seen on the scope and holds 2" accessories more securely in my opinion than the original collet ring.
