I have one set of TEC rings for the 180FL that has a tube O.D. of 8”. These rings have an I.D. of 7.6” fully closed and will not fit the newer TEC 180FL’s safely unless you add extra material (padding) to the inside of the rings. These should also work with just about anything with an O.D. of 8”.
The current TEC specs for the TEC 180FL main tube is 7.56” Not sure what year the tube diameter changed.
