For Sale is my TMB 105/650. Serial Number 80. This is a classic model designed by Thomas M. Back and built in Germany by APM. These triplet super ED scopes are known for world-class color correction and contrast and for being truly special among 4-inch apos. This one delivers on that reputation.
I am the original owner and purchased it in 2002 from APM (Markus Ludes – “you have the best” he told me in 2020). Superb condition, always stored indoors with desiccant. Optics are clean. Used almost exclusively for visual and I love that you can fit the whole Veil nebula in the FOV using a 35mm Panoptic. Rotatable focuser is smooth.
Includes original rings plus a Losmandy plate. Other original hardware included: 2”-1 ¼” adapter, finder, extension tube, hard case (20.5” X 12.5” X 9”)
Recommend pickup, otherwise buyer pays shipping. Willing to meet within reasonable distance of Cincinnati or deliver to certain star parties.
