The TOA130 and 645 flattener were purchased new in 2021. The MoonLite items were also purchased new.
- TOA130
- 645 Tak flattener
- Custom aluminum dust cover for the focuser end of the Tak 645 flattener
- Baader aluminum dust cover for the camera end of the Tak 645 flattener
- Tak TOA NS focuser with threaded dust cap
- Tak TOA OTA counterweight ring
- Tak focuser drawtube extension
- MoonLite WR35 focuser/rotator (w/ external temperature sensor)
- A second MoonLite OTA flange is included (and is shown in the images). It was added in front of the focuser to reduce the length of the imaging train after the focuser.
- MoonLite drawtube extension with Tak TOA 645 flattener adapter
- Two PreciseParts.com drawtube extensions (solid one-piece) with MoonLite WR35 threads on one end and TOA 645 flattener threads on the other end. Both of them are identical except for length.
- Three heavy duty MoonLite TOA OTA rings
- Two MoonLite Losmandy plates (carry handle secured to the top plate)
- MoonLite eyepiece adapter
- Ships in the original Takahashi triple box system
- Images show blemishes on the OTA where the dew shield retracts (possibly from dew straps) and two spots on the end of the dew shield
This TOA130/WR35 combo was put together with the goal of having the most rigid imaging setup possible.
- Three heavy duty MoonLite OTA dovetail rings are spreadout along the main OTA section
- MoonLite OTA rings are secured together around the OTA using large stainless steel bolts with aluminum lock knobs.
- The three MoonLite OTA rings are sandwiched between two heavy duty MoonLite Losmandy dovetails
- A second (and additional) MoonLite OTA flange (shown installed in the images) was added between the OTA and the WR35 focuser/rotator. This additional OTA flange (installed in front of the focuser) adds rigidity to the sytem by reducing the length of the imaging train hanging off of the back of the focuser. The additional large OTA flange also assists in counter balancing the TOA130's heavy lens cell.
- A carry handle is bolted to the Losmandy top plate
$7,500. Pickup in the Houston area is preferred. Buyer is responsible for shipping w/ insurance and any fees associated with the payment method.
