Vixen FL-102S offered for sale -- one of the great fluorite scopes from the 90's.
This telescope is the later version of the FL-102S with an M60 threaded focuser -- so it can take newer Vixen accessories as used by the newer Vixen ED/SD refractors, such as visual backs and reducers. As in the photos, the scope comes with the original 6x30 finder with caps, as well as the original objective cap. I have added a carrying handle and a new 36.4mm Vixen visual back for 1.25" eyepieces. The scope rings and Vixen plate are the originals. The focuser is nice and smooth.
The scope lens is 920mm in focal length, for a focal ratio of f/9. The objective is in very good condition. I have tried my best to capture good and accurate photos. There are no scratches or other imperfections in the coatings that I can find.
Cosmetically, the Vixen sticker is faded. There are some small scratches, mostly on the dew shield, with a few here and there on the tube which I have tried to show. There are no dents or other signs of mishaps.
