I got this Guidestar 61 in a package deal. I have 2 60mm guidescope already. That said, this guidestar has some really great specs so I thought I'd give it a try.
Lens Type: Doublet APO Prime Lens
Focal Length: 360mm
Diameter: 61mm
Focal Ratio: 5.9
Image Circle: 42mm
Adapter: M54 to 2:" Visual Back
Dovetail: Vixen
Tube Length: 340mm
Total Weight: 3.17lbs
My mistake for trying it.... now I'm hooked on widefield and have been searching for other widefield/flatfield. This scope is great little scope, by no means is the image flat however you can buy a flattener for it. It's a beauty of a guidescope and yes I used it for imaging too. I have way too many scopes and and already have other guidersfrom 50mm thru 80mm. why am I getting rid of a nice scope? To get a nicer scope at this focal length or shorter!!! I need a flat widefield now that I've gotten a taste of widefield small scope.
the scope comes with what you see in the pictures, a very nice soft case, yes the pictures included were taken with this scope. M31 was with QHY268C much larger sensor size to show you the not so flat field (800second sub -800x4 darks calibration frames only). NGC7000 was with ASI294 pro smaller sensor better field (600 seconds sub with only darks single frame). Mind you I'm in Bortle 6 skies with my great neighbor with flood lights to the driveway which goes right into my area of observing. Hence the enhance no flats... lol.... BTW
Asking $225 + shipping
Reasonable offers will be considered.
Thanks for your interest.
