Lunt Lander Tripod (Manual), Heavy Duty, Load Capacity 220 lbs

Available for sale is Lunt Engineering Manual Lander Tripod. Tripod is capable of holding 220 lb (100Kg) payload. Height can be adjusted by struts, upto 4" and fine tuned by leveling feet, about 1". Struts have hybrid hydraulic/gas mechanism which makes it easy to deploy/adjust legs. 

The top plate has holes in various different location and Lunt claims that it is compatible with various different mounts. Keep in mind that you will have the tap the holes. You can also use Washers and Nuts underneath if you prefer that over tapping. I only used the tripod with Astro-Physics mounts (Mach1 in the beginning and then Mach2), tripod held well. Tripod is built extremely well, many of the parts are German made, by Bosch.

My mount is now installed in a remote observatory so I no longer need a tripod. Keep in mind that it takes a bit to get used to on folding up the legs, as you have to press the hydraulic/gas lever while also pushing the leg inwards. 

I prefer pick up in person, but I do have the box tripod came in and can ship at buyer's expense. Asking $1100 net to me, which is about half the current price.
