I've tried to respond to two classified ads here, and I never got a response from either party. Is this a problem with my account, or do these guys just not want to answer their ad responses?

Hi Chris,
I have experienced the same thing sometimes. Don't let it get you down. If the items advertised are popular, there can be a large volume of responses and it could be difficult to reply to them all. Other times, advertisers just ignore responses once a deal has been closed. Fortunately, that is not the way most folks work.
When I reply to an ad, I always click on the box to send a copy of my reply to my email. That way I know the reply was properly processed.
