Searching for "meade service kit" or ad "629347" doesnt find anything, has the ad been deleted?
2 or 3 months ago I had a situation where I couldnt contact the seller after what I recieved was not as described, some pretty severe paint damage on a finder that was not disclosed. It rocked on for a couple weeks, turned out the guy was out of town but he contacted me when he got back and worked it out......a bit different I admit but again life happens and sometimes things that we cant control interfere with the best of plans. I would say be patient for a few more days and see if the seller doesnt pop up with an explanation. Keep your messages civil but insistant and firm. He may have shipped it and transposed a number when typing it in and went out of town.....The ol fart might be in the hospital for that matter.....lots of us ol farts in this hobby with health issues

USPS has been known to be SLOWWWWWWWWWW too lol.
You have several avenues to go with, but I would say give it another week before you pursue anything.
1. Contact Herb when the time comes and he will "bond" with the seller.
2. File a complaint with paypal, I have only done this once and not for an astro related item but they fixed it.
3. You also have your credit card company to fall back on.

I bought a Meade service kit (astromart ad # 629347) and paid for it quickly. The person sent an invalid US Postal Service tracking number LJ699680240US on June 8. I have not been able to get in touch with the seller since and have not recieved the product.
If this package doesn't arrive it will be the first bad internet transaction I have had in 12 years of buying and selling over the net! Unfortunately I do not know how to proceed if this deal goes wrong. Can someone point me in the right direction.
I paid by credit card through PayPal.
Thanks-Scott
