Why are featured ads defaulting to display the last image uploaded? How do we fix that?

I just paid to 'feature' an ad for a telescope and instead of the image of the telescope being featured, it is displaying the last image I uploaded to the main listing which is a shot of the moon. So when my ad is being 'promoted' it's just one more shot of the moon on the website and not obvious what is being sold.  

I noticed that others who are promoting their ads are suffering from the same issue.  For one it's literally just a pile of papers that were clearly mean to be just supplemental information and not meant to be the cover photo.

Is there a way for us to fix this ourselves? Can someone on AM fix this?

I tried rearranging the photos in the original listing but that doesn't seem to impact the promotional ad once it has been created.
