B&L 20 x 80 Binos

I just got a pair of B&L 20x80 binos. On the top of the center post it says "20x80 astronomical fv 2.7" The Bausch & Lomb logo is on the right prism housing. B&L dosen't make them any more as I can't find reference to them anywhere. Does anybody know about these binos? Things like how do they compare to other binos,years they were made, what they are worth? They are alot heavier and larger than my 15x70 Oberworks. I haven't had a chance to test them yet as the northeast is clouded over and hasn't had a night of good viewing for what seems like months. Any inputs you guys may have would be greatly appreciated.
