...Anyone know a web page? They're heavily armored waterproof 7x50 porro prism binocss, far above the current "boater" model that's now being offered by Nikon. i'd like to try to find another pair, and have only the serial number to go by.

The only identifying information is "Waterproof 7x50 7.3@ (degrees)" stamped into the rubber armoring.

thanks!

Also: Can anyone easily describe how to check a binoc for collimation? I have trouble merging images at times, and I'm not sure whether it's me or it.

I checked my 2003 Nikon Sports Optics booklet. There are two 7X50 Waterproof models listed. The OceanPro is center focus with 7.2 deg FOV and 22.7 mm eye relief. The Sports and Marine is IF, 7.5 deg FOV and 18 mm eye relief. Looks like the Sports and Marine is more rugged model.

Greetings,
did you get your 7x50's in the early to mid ninetys? Could be the Tropical series. Do they have dark charcoal rubber and weight about 60 ozs? I can point you to the only ones still available. Seafarer II. Try etronics and type in Seafarer.
