a US customer bought from me a old pair of NIKON Binoculars Modell II, many years old and used. Before we shipped it , it was perfectly collimated and we did a hgood packing job, however it seems it arrived misscollimated. Deutsche Optik is willing to fix it, but asking about $ 400, which i think is very very expensive. Does anybody here know a less expensive source in USA who could help ? Of course we could do it in germany, but that 2 way shipping will also be to expensive

thanks for any help and ideas

Markus, I had a very good experience with Mirakel Optical cleaning the prisms and collimating an older Swarovski Habicht SL. They were very prompt, curteous and very thorough. Their price was quite reasonable. You might drop them a note at [email protected]
