Bino/scope straight through

Hi folks
Is anyone using a binoviewer straight through on a scope? I've been
thinking of using this type setup instead of binoculars for a few
reasons. Mainly better image, power selection, and if using a light
scope could be mounted on a parallelogram mount and then lean back in a
reclining type lawn chair then point and look. I know I'll probably
need an extension of some length. Any insight and comments would be
most welcome.

Try it without the extension first. Do not use any OCA/OCS, especially if you are doing terrestrial viewing.

If you have a Denk make sure you remove the PowerSwitch. That will give you an additional 13mm of in-travel.

I use a Siebert BN22 almost straight through with a 1/10 wave 2" dielectric diagonal on a 1/8 wave LOMO 150 Mak-Cass. I placed the BN22 straight through and really saw no improvement, just got a stiff neck and back from bending over and straining.
