Orion is having a sale at the moment on their Sirius plossl eyepieces. Does anyone have any thoughts on using the 32mm's for low-power binoviewing? The Excelsis web site gives them fairly high marks. At $37.40 each, they're a steal.

Hi Ed,
Like Tom, I too use a pair 0f 32mm GTO Plossls. I use them in Blacknights and have found them to be very good. In my 9.25 SCT in conjunction with a Siebert .5 focal reducer I can fit the entire Double Cluster into the FOV with room to spare. Their eye relief is on the long side so I find that I occasionally lose the view.
Clear Skies,
Steve
