Hello!
We have a 14" Celestron telescope in our observatory on campus, but our declination motor has been removed some time ago (it was dead!). We would like to replace it, but we can't seem to find the old motor. The telescope is an old one, and therefore has an old-fashioned fork mount; the dec motor fit in a slot on the side of the fork. We host astronomy nights with up to 150 people and it would be nice to adjust the declination more easily than slewing it around by hand. If anyone has information on declination motors for our old Celestron, let me know. You can see a photo at http://www.gsw.edu/main/images/rotating/sides/21.gif .
Thanks.
