8) Hey all. I am just starting to look for the beginnings to a 2" accessories collection and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to begin. I just purchased an 80mm vixen apo F/7.5 on LXD-75 and received a 2" dielectric diag. in the deal.
what should be my first purchase, second, third etc. Price is somewhat of an object. I would like to keep this venture under a grand when all is said and done. All excellent used off of A-mart, of coursesmile I would like to do mostly palnets and moon, but also some nebula and cluster viewing if possible. Maybe some crude imaging with a webcam as well?

Anyway, any suggestions or comments would be most helpful as I am not familar with 2" accesories or there possibilities in the least.
Thanks to all involved in this crazy quest of astronomy and Keep Lookin' Up 8O !

The Ultima and Axiom EP's are parfocal across the series and go from planetary to deep sky. Ultima better for planetary and Axiom better for deep sky. Axioms pair up well with Panoptics.

I would get a Baader Click Lock adapter and do away with twiddling thumbscrews and get better centering and alignment and put it on a 2" nosepiece for better stability. Great for holding heavy binoviewers.

Might want a 2" Powermate. Might want some 2" Baader filters, especially the Neodymium Moon and Skyglow.
