I had been searching for a case for a GP mount for a while. The Vixen ones cost $300. People here gave me suggestions, but nothing firm.
The other day I discovered the Vaultz brand of portable file cases. Top loading, light weight and about $35. They make a variety of different cases from locking coin boxes to bigger cubical cases. The one I decided to get is called a Personal File Tote, product # VZO1189, for legal size files.
If you go on the internet, the Vaultz site and all the sellers I checked do not show this one. The internet sellers have larger cubicle shaped ones. Those would work too, but this one just seemed to fit right and is more compact. I found this size at Office Max. (Pasadena, CA is out of this one, but the Van Nuys store has a few). I'll tuck in some dense foam or something to keep the shaft and counterweights secure.
