6" Konus vs. 6" celestron achro

Hi. I am brand new to this forum. I am considering the purchase of a 6" achro refractor. I currently have a 120 mm Skyview Pro and a Discovery 10" 5.6 Dob. Both scopes have been very good performers. I want to keep the dob
for deep space observing. However, most of my observing
is done on my patio in a light-polluted environment. In this environment, I have found that the 120mmm refractor edges-out the dob
(most of the time) in terms of contrast and cool-down time.
Because the refractor seems to be the more consistent performer in this environment, I was considering "moving up" in aperture to a 6" achro (portability is not an issue). I believe that I have narrowed down my choices to
2 scopes------ The Celestron C6-R and the Konusmotor 6" refractor refractors. Does anybody have any opinions, suggestions as to which of these 2 would be the better all-around scope?
Thanks!

Hi Kent -

Other than the tube color, those are both the exact same scope, made in the exact same factory by Synta.

This scope is also sold under the name "Skywatcher".

So I guess that you really have narrowed it down to -one- scope! Get whichever one you get a better deal on.

Thanks for your replies. I was unaware of the balance problem with the 6". I just might consider another alternative altogether. I like the idea of more aperture
but I am reluctant to consider a reflector, once again due to several factors, including: longer cool-down times, secondary obstructions, etc. As the old saying goes, there are trade-offs in everything, including telescopes.

Thaks so much again!
