A new secondary,

Hi all,

I have a 22" dob, similar to Starmaster in style. I need to take the 22" mirror to a string dob style.
I also wish to shorten the height of the eyepiece. So, I am looking for a top-quality secondary. I have not figured the size yet. I'm going to guess it will be between 5 and 7 inches.

Looking for ideas.

Greg: You can still use your old secondary, with the eyepiece closer to the secondary, the fully illuminated field of view will be increased, a good thing at low powers.

Newtwin is freeware that you can use to choose the size of your new secondary...
