??? about older Meade MTS-SC8 rear cell opening

Just picked one up but the standard visual back flange is too large. The ID of the rear cell opening is 1.5". Anyone know what adapter would be needed? Would the Orion Mak to SCT adapter work here?

That is really strange since this is a "standard" sct.

did you ever find a solution for this. I have the same issue. MTS-SC8, but no rear visual back will fit.
