According to their ad in the current S&T, Antares now offers rotating tube ring kits for newtonians. Parks and Parallax charge ungodly amounts of money for theirs, the possibility of an Asian source for this stuff is intriguing. Unfortunately, neither their website antaresoptical.com nor any of their dealers show any info. Anyone know any details?

It was pointed out that ClearVue optics' site now has info on the rings. $299 for 6-12" tubes, up to 20" tubes coming, each custom made. They clamp to the tube with felt-lining rather than permanently mounted and look a little lightweight compared to Parks and Parallax, but a bargain for ATMs. I would hate to build these things myself.
