ARO Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescopes

8) I am looking for any information available concerning these telescopes. I have an opportunity to purchase a second hand 6" and have not been able to locate any informaion as to the quality of these telescopes. Any known issues or problems concerning optics?

Thanks,

Steve

Go here http://groups.google.com/ and do a search on ARO Telescopes. The first hit is a thread explaining the maker of these scopes and the origin of the optics.Click on view thread to see the whole thread.Looks like it might be a pretty good scope!
