Baader coma corrector

Hi all,
A couple of week's ago I was drooling over the new Meade light switch telescope's and pondering whether to get one. My income tax check came,,,yippeeee! Well I didn't get it because my son's needed some thing's and I unregretably helped them get what they wanted.
I ended up getting the spare bedroom furniture and a Baader coma corrector for my dob and a fast homebuilt 6" reflector, around F3.5. Does anyone have experience with this coma corrector? I really wanted the telvue paracorr but come up short on money.....again!! What can I expect in the view's with my new coma corrector? I'm getting anxious to use it but it's been snowing and cloudy again but supposed to be clear Fri. and Sat. night's. My dob is a 12" Zhumell at F5 I think, maybe a little longer haven't checked the manual in a while but does have coma on the planet's, Mar's more so than other's.

It works pretty well. I almost always use it in a mode
where I screw it on the the eyepiece via a T-thread/48mm
adapter and some empty 48mm filter rings (to make up
the correct spacing). For 1.25" eyepieces I will use
a 2"/1.25" adapter with filter threads and put the
coma corrector on that.

A big plus of this coma corrector is that is
preserves the focal length of your eyepieces.
Lumicon's also does. But TeleVue's does not --
it multiplies by 1.15x.

For big wide-field eyepieces like the Nagler 31mm T5,
the Baader lenses are not quite big enough, and there
is some light loss at the edge of the field. For
these cases I prefer the Lumicon coma corrector.
TeleVue also works well, but there is a 1.15x
multiplier effect that will turn your 31mm into 27mm.

The older version of the Baader had a fixed "seat"
on it that will make it more difficult to screw
on to eyepieces and still reach focus. That is --
you could not insert the entire coma corrector
into a 2" ID barrel. The current model has a
removable seat, and the corrector can be used
just like a 2" filter (with some adapters).
