These were a hot topic awhile back. Now that they have been around for some time, what does everyone think of them. I have not seen many come up on the Mart, so it seems people are holding on to them.

Thanks
John

I have one. In an F5 scope, as one leaves the center of the field of view and moves towards the edge the aberations are definitely there and sometimes they are quite distracting.

But the center is sharp, the transmission good, there are no blackouts.

In my view it is a useable eyepiece that is a great value. With a 10 inch F5 scope, there is a nearly 2 degree FOV at 43X. It is a great eyepiece for starhopping and for viewing extended targets like the Veil Nebula or the Andromeda galaxy.

If one is picky and would rather not deal with the aberations then stay away. But if one can enjoy the view even if there are some edge problems, then this is a real deal.
