Both of these scopes are close in price? Which would you choose?
c11 as mount with goto vs. 8gps

The C11 on the Celestron Advanced series goto mount is very undermounted. The largest SC I'd even consider putting on that mount is a C 9.25, even with the newer steel tripod. Given the choice between a smaller scope properly mounted and a larger scope that is undermounted, I'd pick the smaller one every time.
