One of the things that has always been a problem about the hand controllers for these two telescope lines is that they are very hard to place back in the mounting spots in the dark and the are mounted on the side of the scope which makes it hard to view them.
I was over a S&S Optika here in Littleton, Colorado and they have made a bracket that addresses the issue for both scopes. It is made of black plastic and fits well with the scopes. It's adjustable as well. Just thought I would pass along the info to those that might want an inexpensive fix to this problem. I think they are selling for around $38 or so. They don't have their website set up to sell equipment but you can give them a call and ask for the bracket.
