Discover Mirrors

I'm thinking of building a new little 8"er and I'm really not inclined to grind my own. Most of the big shops like Torus, Nova, Galaxy, Swayze, etc. don't seemed to be to interested in the little stuff like 8" but I still want to buy high quality.
What do you DIY builders think about the quality of Discovery, University Optics, or Orion mirrors?
I'm attracted to the discovery 8" f7, anyone know of a modern producer that's selling an 8" f8 mirror?

I would agree with Darian that Mark Harry is the custom maker who really specializes in 6 and 8 inch mirrors. Bob Royce (rfroyce.com) also makes them, but an 8" costs almost as much as a 10". They both have fine reputations.

Still, the Discovery mirror is a quality mirror, and at f/7 you can go with either a 1.52" (19%)secondary, or a 1.3" (16%) secondary.
