Do people still use .965 eyepieces?

I have a few misc. .965" eyepieces and filters. Do people still use this size?

Is there a market for them? I'd love to sell them to fund another 1.25 eyepiece.

"Do people still use this size?"

Sure. There are a lot of opticly excellent eyepieces in this size and its no problem with 1.25" adapters. Like other eyepieces and filters, if they're junk you can't give them away and if they're excellent they will command a high price. Some Zeiss and Pentax eyepieces are worth hundreds of dollars each. There are also valuable Takahashi and Carton .965" eyepieces, among others.

Yes, people still use them, but their value will
depend greatly on the brand and quality. Ones
labeled with types "H" and "R" and no brand
will tend to have little value. Types "O" or
"Ortho" and brand name like Unitron or Vixen
(circle-V logo) or circle-T logo will have some
modest value maybe $15 - $40. Brands like
Zeiss, Pentax, Takahashi (T-S logo), Carton
might be worth $100+.

Thanks guys. I'll post some ads in the classifieds. One item is top quality -- a deepsky Lumicon filter. The rest are more common: 2 Celestron color filters, a Meade barlow, Celestron 1.25" adapter, and two eyepieces (18mm & 12.5) that are made in Japan, but I don't know the brand.

I'm going to post the stuff separately, but if someone want it all, make an offer.
