Can anybody with an 8 or 10 inch dob post a detailed picture of the base? There is no good place around here to check out scopes. Not many starparties going on this time of year, it's been so hot there is a perpetual night haze in the summer. Besides, I work 2 job, am working on my masters, and have a 6 month old child. I don't get out much!

Do a google Search for Ray Cash, Side Walk Astronomy. He has complete plans for a sonotube Dob on the web.
