I added DSC's onto my dob. I am running a Bbox equivalent encoder interface and a PDA running "The Sky Pocket Edition" software.
After I do my aligment and have no trouble locating DSOs, however the planets are not where the PDA thinks they should be; on the ecliptic plane but an hour or so ahead. I am trying to figure out if this is a time zone or daylight savings time issue caused by the PDA's internal clock.
Another issue, when I select an object from the database, I have an option to slew to it using some graphic bars that get smaller as I get closer. However the RA is off by 180 degrees and the Dec is off by 120 degrees. Any thoughts on that issue?
I am new to DSCs so any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Glenn
