I have recently counted how much I spent on my astro gear. To my surprise, I spent almost exactly the same amount on telescope OTAs and mounting. The cost of accessories was 20% higher which I see as a disbalance. I think I must buy a new telescope with mount.

Hi Dmitri,
I bought a refractor and mount recently and as a combination package, it was a good deal. If I had bought the separately, it would had not been a cost effective.
I do not add up the cost of my equipment. My heart is not as young as if once was and if I don't know I wont care. wink
