My son was showing me a "toolkit" he recently bought to hold audio equipment. It is a 18" x 12.5" x 6" (460x325x150mm) aluminum case with foam padding, plastic inserts to create dividers, and elastic straps on the inside, with a lockable latch and shoulder strap. It is of course the same type of case that is sold for eyepieces, which sell for $80 - $125. He paid $20 at Lowes. Check them out.

Good Call David.) I am looking at cases right now, and anything Nice is a bit pricy. Also in the mean time, until I come up with the funds for a nice case for my 9.25" Tube, I am using this RuberMade Container with the foam packaging that it was held in during shipping. Not to bad really. It will get me by for the time being.

David, I recently purchased the Lowes aluminum toolcase and I too can vouch for its quality. The best part is the "pluck out" foam so you can custom fit whatever you want to carry. I used one of the full depth dividers to make a narrow space where I carry filters in a folder, flashlight, small tools, and even my slow motion cables. At $19.95 this case is one of the best bargains available for amatuer astonomers!
