Anyone flown recently with this or a similar sized refractor (4", f/8) lately? Problems with carry-on?

Mary, I have an FS-102 and it's way too big to go as carry on and as checked baggage, I fear baggage handling is too rough. In addition, many airlines have severe checked baggage restrictions nowadays. I would think that you can pack it up, UPS it to your new location, that way you won't have to worry about moving it yourself. Of course, don't forget that heavy tripod and mount too!
