Terry: Yes, the F/6.3 will change the effective focal ratio of your scope from ~F/10 to about F/6.3. At F/6.3 the focal length is about 1760mm. So, without the reduced, a 32mm eyepiece would have provide 87x but with the reducer it would be 55X.
