I am looking for a replacement focuser for a 5.1 synta newtonian. I would like to stay with a 1.25 if possible. I have seen quite a few quality focusers however I am concerned about finding one that will fit the 5.1 diameter scope I have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A couple of questions/obsrvations:
1. Which 5.1 Synta Refractor do you have? the F5 or the F7?? I have the 130mm F5 and someone stuck a 2 inch focuser on there, it works and adds a degree or two to the FOV, quite nice under dark skies.
2. What is wrong with the stock focuser? Is it plastic? Otherwise, with some help these can be made to operate quite nicely.
