after a frustrating time finding a DEC motor for my LX200 i sent an email to one of my companies overseas electronics manufacturers- they told me they can build a replacement servo motor with encoder if I send them specs and a sample to duplicate
Since Meade wants 500.00 to repair these-and displays a we dont care attitude ive decided to make this my goal for 2013- developing a replacement servo motor that will be a replacement for the one inside the Meade scope. I have a motor to send them- and motor board- but I need full specs on the motor and encoding assembly- if anyone has this information please let me know.
