Giant Focal Reducer for Large SCTs

I am getting a C14, and would like to determine the config for maximum FOV. I read somewhere that the "normal" f/6.3 reducers vignette the light path significantly, and the "Giant" one from Lumicon apparantly does not. My instinct is that the narrowest of either the:

1. Eyepiece Fieldstop
2. Baffle Tube Diameter
3. Reducer Lens

Will limit the actual FOV. Can anyone chime in here?

The trade off is that the Lumicon (not sure they make 'em any more) is just a reducer and not a reducer-corrector like the Celestron.

Another reducer people like is the .5 from Astro-Physics.
